Tap Warehouse goes live
We have been busy working away on a new website for Tap Warehouse a new subsidiary born from a Dorset-based bathroom retail group that has been operating for thirty years. Tap Warehouse approached Gibe at the back end of 2010 having identified a gap in the market for a specialist online tap retailer.
Gibe worked closely with Tap Warehouse in the early part of 2011 to develop the new brand, which included logo, typography, colours and tone of voice. The site is built using HTML 5 and runs on the GibeCommerce platform. This platform gives Tap Warehouse a web based admin interface to manage all content, products, customers, orders and discounts.

The site holds and extensive range of bathroom taps, kitchen tap, showers, heating solutions and various accessories. The site currently holds around 2500 product lines with the range expected to grow 50-60% over the coming year.
The site launched this week and we’re really proud of the output. He’s what Elliot Lees-Bell at Tap Warehouse had to say,
“We’re really pleased with the new site. The design perfectly reflects where we want to be with the Tap Warehouse brand. The GibeCommerce platform is really easy to use so we can manage all our own products and content. We now have all the tools to successfully run our business. We’re now talking to Gibe about developing websites for other companies within the Group.”
